Founded in 1989 by L. B. "Buz" Hodges and Debi Cowles-Reese, Milestone Mortgage Corporation is a Texas-based mortgage bank. Its corporate headquarters is in Houston, and there are eight Milestone branches statewide.

Both Buz and Debi are well-known and respected in the mortgage industry. While working in management for a large national lender, they gained valuable experience but regretted the way corporate lenders were becoming less personal in their methods of conducting business. Recognizing the importance of customer relationships, Buz and Debi formed a company that offered intelligent counsel to clients based on their individual financing needs.

Over the years, this personal approach has become even more crucial as the array of loan programs and financing options has greatly expanded.
